My story

Real estate, from someone who used to help process the permits.

I'm Sarah Foley, a REALTOR® with McGraw REALTORS® born and raised right here in Tulsa. Before real estate, I spent six years as a planner's assistant in municipal planning — which turned out to be the best possible training for this job.

Where I started

Six years reading plat maps before I ever wrote an offer.

I grew up in Tulsa and earned my degree from Tulsa Community College before spending six years as an assistant to the city planner with the City of Jenks Planning and Zoning department — handling zoning and land use applications, building permit and inspection paperwork, and reading blueprints and site plans for setbacks and easements against city zoning code, day in and day out.

From there I moved into new-home sales for a local builder, working as a sales associate and guiding buyers through the entire process from dirt to floor plan — site selection, plan and upgrade decisions, and every step of construction through closing. I got my real estate license in June 2020 and joined McGraw REALTORS® to bring all of it together — existing homes, new construction, and land.

I still sit on the Jenks Board of Adjustments today, and I still can't help reading a survey a little more carefully than most agents do.

“Everything happens for a reason.”

Credentials & community

The background behind the license number.

Planning

Planner's Assistant, City of Jenks

Six years handling zoning, land use, and building permit applications on the municipal side, before ever listing a property.

Builder

New-Home Sales, Local Builder

Two years selling new construction for a Tulsa-area builder — learning the building process, blueprints, and closing timeline from the builder's side of the table.

Jenks Board of Adjustments

Appointed August 2021 — still active in the zoning decisions that shape this market.

Relocation

Relocation Certified

Trained specifically in helping out-of-state buyers and sellers navigate a move with confidence, from a distance.

Outside the office

I'm a Tulsa native, a mom to a recent Northeastern State University graduate, and a member of Asbury Church. When I'm not showing houses, you'll usually find me at the gym — staying active keeps me sharp for everything else.

Why this job, still

“It's customer service and helping people find what's right for them.”

That's the whole philosophy, really. Buying land, building new, or selling the house you raised your kids in — the transaction is really just the paperwork around a much bigger decision. I try to treat it that way.

Curious if I'm the right fit?

A first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
